Youtube Medical Videos
For this Blog About it Post I watched a video on YouTube called “My Path to Med School, what I did to get in... This video is made by the YouTuber Erin Hays who does videos about her medical school experience. I like her channel and have subscribed to her channel because it's not one of those high production channels that sometimes do it for the money, I can tell she really wants to help people learn about medical school. Her videos range between 15 to 20 minutes, which some people might find long but I think the videos are informative and you want to have a lengthy video. Enough time to get all the information in and not rush through it so you can actually absorb and understand what she is saying. Like with my Project 2 I did the community of medical school students/applicants and this video gave me more insight into what people do when they prepare for medical school and its applications. Her YouTube channel is one I admire and I would like to follow in her footsteps in the next couple of years and make videos much like she does about medical school experiences so I can help others as well. I think this is a really effective genre because a lot of people like to get on YouTube and just watch videos when they procrastinate and don't work, this is basically how I found her channel in the first place but another video about "Medical School versus Grey's Anatomy". I like the open communication of YouTube and how you can comment and interact with the YouTubers themselves and others in that community. https://youtu.be/B-YQDEEOrwk
